The Treasure Keeper - Northern California Workshop

"The Treasure Keeper"

Friday, June 5
& Saturday, June 6
Danville, CA

Please join me as we create this lovely "French inspired" doll atop a wonderful set of drawers that can hold your special treasures.  Inspired by a vintage photograph of a jewelry box I found during my travels in Paris, I set upon creating my own heirloom piece.  Together, we will sculpt, paint and antique her and then we will dress her in her finest....including creating a wonderful bonnet for her.

Workshop Fee $255

This workshop includes all the items to create your own treasure keeper except for the following supplies you need to bring to class.

~A variety of laces, fabrics, trims and any items you choose to "decorate" your doll and bonnet
~Sewing needles, thread, pins and scissors
~paint brushes - a variety of sizes including a short liner brush
~Sculpting tools - plastic from a craft shop is fine
~Paint for your drawers if you would like a different color than the gold pictured above
~Crystal knobs (kits come with round wooden knobs).  I purchased the knobs pictured at Hobby Lobby.  They are approximately 3/4"

Approximately 21 inches tall

Workshop hours are 10-5 both Friday and Saturday.  Alameda Flea is Sunday, June 7 for those that want to venture that way.  Lunch and refreshments are provided each day.  All spots are non-refundable but transferable to another student.
